Introduction
In August 2011, Cavex acquired the range of worm gears from Siemens AG (Flender Cavex worm gears). The Cavex worm gears developed by Flender are extremely durable and reliable. The gears are hardened and ground and the worm is made of high-quality bronze. Such gears are wear-resistant and have a long service life.
The drives can also be ordered in combination with three-phase asynchronous electric motors. Multi-stage motors, brake motors and explosion-proof motors are also available. Motors can be supplied with single or double brakes as well as with incremental encoders depending on customer requirements. Complete units are also available with frequency converters.
Cavex also offers stainless steel drives that comply with the highest hygiene requirements. They strictly adhere to the requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industries and set new benchmarks for standards in these areas.
