The aim is to get to the real cause of the problem, not just to deal with the consequences of it. The aim is to prevent unplanned downtime and minimize planned maintenance shutdowns. Any component that moves &#8220;up&#8221; and &#8220;down&#8221;, oscillates, in fact, vibrates. Machine components can vibrate in different ways with large or small displacements, fast or slow, with increased noise and temperature.<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: 5px solid #ffffff;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.m-trade.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/vibracije2-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p><p><strong>What is vibration?<\/strong><\/p><p>No rotor is perfectly balanced. When a machine is running, a &#8220;heavy point&#8221; on the rotor generates centrifugal force. The machine experiences vertical and horizontal forces that vary sinusoidally, as can be seen in the diagram.<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.m-trade.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Screenshot_1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"171\" \/><\/strong><\/p><p>We use three types of sensors to measure vibration:<\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>Displacement sensor<\/li><li>Speed sensor<\/li><li>Accelerometer<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.m-trade.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/vibracije3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"114\" \/><\/p><p><strong>Simple vibration measurement display:<\/strong><\/p><p>The sensor reads a combination of all signals present. A real machine forms a complicated vibration pattern. With the help of instruments and appropriate software, these vibrations can be &#8220;evaluated&#8221;.<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.m-trade.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/vibracije4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"164\" \/><\/p><p><strong>Frequency separation:<\/strong><\/p><p>Using the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), we extract the individual frequencies for each machine component to obtain a spectrum envelope.<\/p><p><strong>Interpreting the spectrum is not &#8220;magic&#8221;!<\/strong><\/p><p>Knowledge of the rotating machine components and the known rotational speed will show us where in the spectrum there is increased vibration due to damage.<\/p><p><strong>Interpretation of amplitude and frequency<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>The amplitude of the vibration indicates the importance of the problem &#8211; the proportional magnitude of the vibration signal &#8211; the relative vibration level of the new machine<\/li><li>The frequency at which the vibration occurs indicates the potential origin of the problem &#8211; also &amp;quot;how often&amp;quot; the problem occurs &#8211; pinpointing the cause or origin<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/m-trade.si\/novaspletna\/portfolio-item\/meritve-vibracij-lezajev\/6a\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1757\"><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"margin-left: 20px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.m-trade.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/6a.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.m-trade.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/vibracije5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"238\" \/><\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Reporting:<\/strong><\/p><p>We will provide you with quality reports after the measurements have been taken.
